Kardiani

Situated 14 kms to the northwest of Chora (Tinos Town), Kardiani ‘hangs’ amphitheatrically on the steep slopes of a lush hillside. Kardiani is a traditional settlement of particular beauty, a richly green village thanks to the region's numerous natural springs. Its unique location offers both protection from the strong northerly winds and an unhindered view towards the Aegean and Syros as well as many of the islands of the central Cyclades. The bay of Kardiani, with its idyllic beach and the excellent beaches of Agios Petros and Kalyvia, are all at an approximate distance of 3.5km from the village.

Kardiani is one of the most picturesque settlements on Tinos, equally beloved of Greek and European visitors.
