Koumaros

Koumaros is a small, traditional village of Tinos built in the shadow of the imposing hill of Exombourgo, 10.5 kms north of Chora (Tinos Town). It has a small-scale, picturesque open-air theatre which hosts a number of summertime cultural events. The amphitheatric village provides a panoramic view towards the interior of Tinos and the island's cultivated lowlands and, in the direction of the mountains, to the settlement of Smardakitos.
