Xinara

At a distance of 5.5km north of Chora (Tinos Town) in the island's interior, historical Xinara is situated at an important crossroads beneath the imposing fortress on the western flank of Exombourgo, a location that established it as an important cultural, educational and artisanal center in past centuries. Xinara is also renowned for the commanding building of the Roman Catholic Archbishopry of Tinos.
